Keiyanda Hopkins

Keiyanda Hopkins, known lovingly as "Mook" to her family and friends, was born on November 18, 1983, in Milford, Delaware. A smart and thoughtful woman, Keiyanda's life was marked by her unwavering support for her loved ones and an infectious sense of humor that brought joy to everyone she met. Keiyanda passed from this life on November 28, 2025, leaving a legacy of love and dedication that will be cherished by all who knew her.

Keiyanda was known for her love of cleaning and her propensity to never sit still. Her passion for maintaining a tidy environment led her to a career in housekeeping with the Hyatt Hotel. No matter where she was, Keiyanda would always find a way to stay busy. Beyond her profession, what mattered most to Keiyanda was her family. She was a supportive mother to her daughter, Moniya, and a doting grandmother to her granddaughter, Malaya. Keiyanda also had a special bond with her brothers, Keith and Keon, and her niece and nephews, Kahleel, Kahlim, and Labria. She also leaves behind cousins, aunts and uncles that she dearly loved. She shared many memorable conversations with her family, often spending hours on the phone just talking and laughing with them.

Keiyanda was preceded in death by her parents, Keith White and Stephanie Hopkins, her grandmothers, Laura Hopkins and Hattie White, her grandfathers, Brooks White and Clifton Hopkins, and her nephew, Keon Jr. She is survived by her daughter Moniya Hopkins (Deantae), granddaughter Malaya, her brothers Keith and Keon, her nephews Kahleel and Kahlim, her niece Labria, her ex-husband Kevin Foreman, her son-in-law Deantae Watson, and her sisters-in-law Jamie Hopkins and Megan Bedo.

A public viewing will be held for Keiyanda on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 10:00am EST at McPherson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., located at 11475 Commercial Lane, Laurel, Delaware, 19956.
