Andrew Everette Sabb of Lewes, Delaware departed this life on March 14, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. He was 56 years old.
Andrew also lovingly known as “Dook” was born on March 8, 1967 to the late Lee Ann Johnson in Georgetown, Delaware.
In his youth, Andrew attended schools within the Indian River School District and assistant on his family’s ranch. He was also employed throughout his life with Southern States and Purdue Farms in Georgetown, Delaware. Andrew was a very gifted and skilled laborer.
Andrew loved to cook. He’s jerk chicken was the talk at any family party he brought it too. He would always jokingly say that his recipe was a “Chinese Secret”. He loved eating hot wings, anything sweet, and it was a must to have a Coca-Cola. Andrew loved animals especially horses and dogs. If he wasn’t listening music, he was completing some type of artwork. Andrew will be remembered as a renaissance man by his family as he had such a unique personality. Andrew enjoyed sports; it was his opinion that the Dallas Cowboys was the number one team in the NFL. His biggest love of all, we’re spending time with his family at any family gathering that he could attend. He loved family time.
Andrew is preceded in death by his loving mother, Lee Ann Johnson. Both his grandparents, Lee Jay and Chattie Sabb of Georgetown, DE; and aunt, Rosemary Campbell of Georgetown, DE.
He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Andre and Alexander Bowden of Bridgeville, DE and their mother Victoria Bowden his lifelong companion. Two sisters, Jacqueline Twyman (Harry) of Bridgeville, DE; and Tammy Fuller (Clarence) of Dover, DE; one brother, Joseph J. Johnson (Yvette) of Georgetown, DE; three aunt, Sherry Abbott (Marvin) of Georgetown, DE; Joyce Ann Sabb of Dover, DE; and Maria Sabb Seaford, DE; two uncles, Leronz Sabb of Georgetown, DE and Lee Riley (Sheryl) of Dumfries, Virginia. Andrew was especially fond ofhis nieces and nephews: Andrea, Jamie, Ortiz, Tanaya, Nate, Taleeya, Liana, and LeJoie. And a host of family and friends.
