CHRYSTLYN’S LIFE STORY

Chrystlyn Dorlissa Farlow (Cannon), 49, of Milton earned her wings Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Delaware.

Chrystlyn affectionately known as “Chrissy” was born Wednesday, July 11, 1973, at Beebe Hospital in Lewes, Delaware to the late Norman Lee Cannon and Alfreda Wanda Lenora Purnell.

Chrystlyn graduated from Cape Henlopen High School in 1991. She loved caring for others. Her first job was at Tom Best’s (Ace Hardware) in Lewes, Delaware. She then worked at Thrift Drug formerly known as Edgehill Pharmacy in Rehoboth Beach, followed by Dr. Cardona’s office. She then pursued her passion for children alongside her husband at their in home daycare, Li’l Ankle Biters in Lewes, Delaware for several years where she retired for health reason.

In addition to her parents, Chrystlyn is predeceased by her stepfather, Wallace Scott (2017); and her sister, Berniece Major (2011).

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Leon Farlow of Milton; her six children; Nya Farlow of Long Neck, Brianna Farlow (Akeem) of Milton, LeRon Holland of Milton, Martisha Whaley (Shawn) of Hampton, VA, Alfredo Seth (Lauren) of Lewes, and Aljajuan Bowen of Vermont. Two brothers; Norman Hughes (Elisha) of Bridgeville and Stephen Major (Hanan) of Seaford. Four sisters; Shilondra Cannon (Tyrone) of Ellendale, Tameka Teagle (Terry) of Bridgeville; Cassandra Harris (Jarrett) of Ellenwood, Ga and Latonya Scott (Kinon) of Felton, Seven grandchildren, and a multitude of cousins, relatives, nieces, nephews and many, many friends.
