Efrian Frank Calderon was born on Tuesday September 25th 1956 in New York. He was born to the late Segundo Calderon (step mother Irma Calderon) and Carmen Rodriguez. He was the first of two children. He was known as “Frankie” or “Chico” to those who knew him. Frankie departed this life on Wednesday August 30th 2023 after a long battle of health issues.
In Frankie’s earlier life he graduated from a Catholic school in New York and soon after found his love for working with horses. Where ever the horses were you would be sure to find Frankie. For years that’s the work he loved and cherished until his health started to fail. In 2021 he reunited with his daughter Latisha Little and her husband Lamarcus Little until his passing. Frankie enjoyed his subs from his favorite place “Jersey Mike’s” one of his favorite sayings was “hey favorite daughter can you run out to get me some Jersey Mike’s” and she would reply “dad I’m your only daughter and she would go for him every time”. When he was relaxing you could find him in his room watching the news playing horse racing games on his phone/tablet or taking his daily naps. Frankie was truly humble laid back never complained and lived his life to the fullest. He also loved joking and spending time with his grandchildren. Chico was a loving father and grandfather and he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
