Frederick Deshawn Tolson, Sr. was born on March 16, 1981, at Kent General Hospital in Dover, Delaware, to parents Sharon Melissa Tolson and Richard Orlando Tribbett who he is now reunited with alongside his cherished brother Richard Orlando Tolson, his daughter Jayda Mahogany Tolson Watts, and his beloved teacher, Mrs. Thompson.
Growing up he displayed his intelligence and talents through various measures. From his formative years at Central Middle School to his athletic pursuits at Dover High School, Frederick showcased not only his prowess in football and basketball but also his enthusiasm for life.
As an adult, he found joy in simple pleasures, sharing summers filled with fishing, crabbing, playing corn hole, bowling and barbecues with friends and family, especially his cherished children. He also enjoyed watching basketball and football as he rooted for the Chicago Bulls and cheered for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Frederick Sr was a man of diverse talents, enjoying activities like rapping, singing, and dancing, regardless of skill level. An artist at heart, he expressed himself through various creative outlets. Skilled in the kitchen, he loved cooking and maintaining a clean space. Approachable and sociable, Frederick seamlessly mingled with any crowd, leaving a lasting impact as a people's person. As a star athlete, he not only excelled on the football and basketball teams but also earned the title of MVP in the hearts of many.
He embraced a myriad of roles throughout this life, including father, son, grandson, brother, cousin, protector, provider, lover, and friend. If you were ever blessed to be in his presence you knew that he had a heart of gold as it filled with love and pure intentions. His generosity knew no bounds, as he was known to give the shirt off his back, share his last dollar with a complete stranger, and offer unwavering support to those in need.
He radiated undeniable charisma, his mere presence had the power to illuminate any room; his infectious smile would light up the entire space, and the resonance of his laughter was enough to spread contagious joy. Although he may not be physically among us now, just the thought of his love continues to fill the room with warmth. In his absence, we take comfort in the knowing that we have gained a beautiful guardian angel, watching over us from above, adding a beautiful and ethereal presence to our lives.
He leaves behind a legacy and is survived by his children; Jacqueline Elaine Tolson, Jazmine Jaymika Tolson, Frederick Deshawn Tolson Jr., Richard Orlando Tolson Jr., VaNya Marie
