Glenn Eugene Andrews aka “Toothpick” was born on October 10, 1953 to the late Howard and Eunice Broughton Andrews of Georgetown, DE. Glenn was unexpectedly called home to his eternal rest on Thursday, January 5, 2023.
He received his education in the Indian River School District, and served a period of time in the United States Army National Guard. Glenn worked for Perdue Farms and many other companies as a professional truck driver, including his current employer Davis Family Trucking in Gumboro, DE. Glenn also worked for Easterseals Delaware and Maryland’s Eastern Shore as a Work Crew Supervisor.
“Toothpick” as he was affectionately known by most of his trucker friends, loved his family unconditionally. Glenn always welcomed anyone that visited his home, and loved being around good company, always expressing his love and devotion for his Cowboys Football team.
In his younger years, Glenn was a member of many clubs and organizations, including the Tread Burners Motorcycle Club.
Loving memories will be cherished by: his brother, Gregory Andrews of Laurel; niece and nephew, Eureka (Nathan) Herring of Millsboro and Anthony Andrews of Seaford; uncle, Joseph (Rebecca) Andrews of Seaford; adopted daughter, Whitney Kay Jernigan of Seaford; special partner, Ann. He also leaves a host of great nieces and great nephews, cousins, and friends.
