James L Hughes

Mr. James L. Hughes, 60, native of Anniston, Alabama, passed at Bay Health Sussex in Milford, Delaware. Mr. Hughes recently relocated to Milford, Delaware from Pennsville, New Jersey where he valued new friendships and a love for watching airplanes flying over the Delaware River. He maintained a very close relationship with his niece, whom he helped raise. Some of his interests were music, drawing, wrestling, riding motorcycles, trips to the mountains and Panama City Beach.  Mr. Hughes was very family oriented and is preceded in death by his parents James E. & Margaret A. Hughes of Anniston, Alabama and a sister Sheila D. Hughes Smith of Wellington, Alabama. He is survived by his brother Charles E. Hughes of Anniston, Alabama, a niece Michelle D. Ansley-Hohenberger and nephew-in-law Chris Hohenberger of Anniston, Alabama. Other family include two great nephews Justin T. Cummings of Jacksonville, Alabama and James A. (Ansley) Waites of Eastaboga, Alabama, one great niece Kandis Few of Oxford, Alabama and seven great great nieces & nephews. He was loved by many and will be forever missed. Cremation services to be handled by McPherson Funeral Home in Milford, Delaware.
