Kevin Wade

Kevin Wade, 55, was born February 8, 1967, to Oveta Wade and the late Charles Sudler.   He was raised by his grandmother Ella Mae Wade in Houston, Delaware.

Kevin passed away quietly Thursday, January 12, 2023. He was a devoted and loving son, father, cousin, and friend to many.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Glenda, and their blended family, five daughters, Brianna Elizabeth, Asia Dane, Ambriana Monique, Kaelynn Nicole, and Kiryn Maijon; sons, Ronald, Stafford, Sebastian Smith, and Justin Ridley; two grandsons, Ase and Uwe. Kevin leaves behind his parents, Oveta and Kofi Baison, his sibling, William Yoofi Baison, Charletta Fuchell, Charles Sudler Jr., Charlean Sudler, Matthew Sudler, Linda Sudler, Allen Sudler, Charlesette Sudler, and Marcus Sudler.

Kevin was especially close to his uncles, aunts and many cousins. Let's not forget his dedicated best friends, Robert Newsome, Robert Mapp, Valdine Murphy, Anthony Jones, and Demetrius Dillard. Kevin is also survived by a devoted friend Crystal Chapa Canales and her daughters, Hailey, Emily, Judy, and Kacey.

After graduating from Milford High School in Delaware, he attended Shaw University and North Carolina A&T. Kevin fell in love with the south and resided in Greensboro, NC, for many years before moving to San Antonio, TX, in 2012. However, Kevin had a lifelong dream of moving to San Diego, CA! Kevin was thrilled when he realized his dream had come true on January 8, 2023-when he was finally in San Diego gazing over the Mexican border!!

Kevin loved to travel and absolutely loved hosting the Barner Family Reunions! Above all, he was an “off the charts “New England Patriots Fanatic!

Kevin was predeceased by his grandparents, Ella Mae Wade, William Wade, and Stanford Sudler. His dogs, Skipper and Brutus also predeceased him.
