Latisha R Abney

Latisha Renee Abney, 31, of Dagsboro, Delaware was born on July 25, 1992, to Tanzania Hutchins and Steven Abney.

Latisha transitioned from this Earth to Glory on April 14, 2024.

Tish, as we called her loved to dress up in her finest attire, always Diva Style, everything matching to a T., her outfits, sheets, and blankets always coordinated.

Latisha loved her Mom mom Faye and would sleep when her nurses were with her so she could be awake with her grandmother. Some fun memories would include when her Mom mom Faye would be on the phone laughing, Tish would laugh just as hard. She was her mom mom Faye's mini me, a great light of inspiration, a gift from our God.

Tish memory will be cherished by her maternal grandmother and caregiver Doris Faye Butts, parents, Tanzania Hutchins and Steven Abney; two sisters, Kesha Abney and Aleeya Wynder, one brother, Isaiah Fountain; three nieces, TaNiya Abney, Brooklyn Baynard and BrNiya Baynard; paternal grandparents, Violet Garrison and Walt Brown; two aunts, Malita Hutchins and Natasha Abney, one uncle Brandon Garrison. Tish was also blessed with her sister/ cousins Destiny Odom, Maniya Odom, and Amiah Lankford. And many other great aunts, great uncles, relatives who loved her.

Tish was blessed with devoted nurses, Judy B, Candy, Bonnie, and Judy P. A host of physicians and specialty doctors that provided superior care. A great primary doctor Dr. Gorra, very caring case workers Leah and Jodie. Tish also had a very unique relationship with her EMT Transporters and thorough enjoyed her rides in the ambulance.
