Robert Holloman Jr., was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on October 9, 1948, to the late Virgie Holloman and the late Robert Holloman Sr. He departed this life on Thursday, August 31, 2023.
Robert always been a hard worker. He worked since he was 11 years old and held numerous of jobs including Draper King Cole, American Tree Care, and Dog Fish Head Brewery until he retired in 2005. Robert was known for cooking his pot of beans, pig feet, lamb chops and more. He loved to dress. Everybody knew he was the life of the part, always dancing and wiggling. He was a dancing machine with a big smile and big heart. He traded his dancing shoes in and started dancing for the Lord. He was determined that he was going to see his loved ones again.
Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife Mary F Holloman, His daughter in law, Rita Smith, his granddaughter Trish Johnson, his grandson Tykee Evans.
Left with cherished memories are his children Lena (Pookie) Smith of Norfolk, Virginia, Robert Holloman of Norfolk, Virginia, Tabitha Vereen of Portsmouth, Virginia, Antwon Vereen of Portsmouth, Virginia, Janice (Larry) Brittingham of Lincoln, Delaware, Joe Hagans of Columbia, South Carolina, Alphonso (Doris) Hagans of Coolspring, Delaware , Alonso Hagans of Milton, Delaware, Sheila Wilburn of Milton, Delaware, grandchildren, Neisha Wilmer of Milton, Delaware, Loraine (Leon) Hazzard of Lincoln, Delaware, a very special grandson (sweet) James Wilburn of Milton Delaware one special great granddaughter he called (mom mom) Eriana Wilmer of Milton Delaware. siblings, Betty Hallet of Georgetown, Delaware, Barbra Griffin of Milford, Delaware, Elliot Holloman of Dover, Delaware, Virgie Canales of Norfolk, Virginia, Cecilia Norwood of Portsmouth, Virginia, Benjamin Dean of Portsmouth, Virginia.
