Sean Jones

Sean “Doobie” Jones departed his life on February 20, 2022. Sean was born to the late Melvin Gray and Mildred Jones on August 5, 1984, in Milford, De.

Sean grew up in Milton (684) and graduated from Cape Henlopen High School in 2004.

Sean was a hard worker that started working at the age of 14 at various restaurants where he worked many positions, however he loved to cook.

Sean earned his CNA and started his career as a travel nurse about five years ago. He had no problem hitting the road by himself (traveling through rain, sleet, and snow).

Sean resided in San Antonio Texas. He took much pride in decorating his apartment. Sean loved technology and even had a robot.

Those that knew Sean the best knew he was the life of the party. He always had a smile and a humorous personality. Sean was very fashionable and knew he looked good every time he stepped out in his bling bling.

Sean was the glue that held people together. He was kind, gentle, resilient, and dependable. Sean will be greatly missed by many, especially by his brother and mother who loved him dearly.

Sean was preceded in death by his father Melvin Gray, his maternal grandmother Eula Mae Jones, and his paternal grandmother Reba Gray.

Sean leaves to cherish his memories one brother Melvin Jones, his mother Mildred Jones, a special cousin Robert Jones. Special friends Omar & Chullsa Johnson and Angelic Coleman. Although Sean had no children of his own, he loved his three nephews and one niece very much. Sean also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022, at 12:00 PM with a viewing two hours prior to service at Wesley Chapel, Lincoln,DE.
