Tawana Roche Sudler

Tawana Roche’ Sudler, also known to family and friends as Boobsie, Wana, and TT, daughter of Harriet Gibbs and Wallace Sudler Sr., was born April 5, 1999, in Dover, Delaware. She unexpectedly departed this life on Friday, April 7, 2023, at the age of 24.  She attended the public schools of Caesar Rodney and Lake Forest. She worked several jobs over the years, even as a caregiver for her late brother. After endeavoring in multiple careers, she found her passion as a substitute teacher in the Delaware Schools, which she loved and was very proud of.  

Tawana was blessed with two children, Kashmier and Kolton Sudler. Tawana was an awesome, proud, and loving mother. She also had unconditional love for her family and friends.  She had a generous spirit, pleasant personality, and a big heart; she was loved by many.  Her smile was so beautiful and bright as the sun, it would light up any place.  She would always try to find “the good” in everyone and any situation. Tawana was soft-hearted, kind, and always willing to extend a helping hand. Tawana always enjoyed when someone made her favorite foods, cheesecake and pretzel salad. Her love and smile will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her. Tawana was preceded in death by her Grandparents; Hannah Jacobs, Harry Gibbs, and Johnnie Harris; Great Grandmother Doris Sudler; brother Devin Scott; and nephew JaCary Watson. 

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of  her children, Kashmier and Kolton Sudler of Dover, DE; mother Harriet Gibbs of Dover, DE; father Wallace Sudler, Sr. of Rockhall, MD; three brothers Kevin Scott Jr. (wife Violetta) of JB Andrews, MD; Ray Sudler and Wallace Sudler, Jr. both of Dover, DE; sister Nija Gibbs of Harrington, DE; grandmother Sylvia Sudler of Dover, DE; God Grandparents; Katherine & Nathaniel Copper of Centerville MD, and Charelletta & Manny Allen of Dover, DE; Godparents Wanda & Ralph Conkey of Elkton MD, Miasha Woodlin of Dover, DE, and Kyiem Hall of Seaford, DE; Godchildren; Tayshaun Mosley, Aria Simpson-Daniels, Saniya Davis, Jer’imani Kurine, and Amor and Davinah Murphy; family friend, Ashanti Hall, devoted friend and cousin Tamia Baynard, and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
